MDGA V-Show Fall 2021
Mini Lamancha Junior Doe Champion Lineup
Judge: April Hitch
For Grand Champion, I am going to go with my first place intermediate kid (H). She is a doe that excels her closest competition, the junior kid and the second place intermediate kid, in general appearance, showing more strength to her rear pasterns and a more correct rear leg set when viewed from the side. She also has the advantage in dairy strength, being sharper in the withers, and having a longer, leaner neck.
For Reserve Champion, it becomes a lot closer. When looking between my first place junior kid and my second place intermediate kid, I am going to go with my second place intermediate kid (G). She is a doe that excels the junior kid in general appearance, having more strength to her pasterns and standing more uphill. She also excels in dairy strength, being sharper in her withers and more angular when viewed from the top.
