I placed this class of AOM Senior Does 5 years and up as: A-D-B-C

Entry B receives Best Udder in this class.  Her rear udder is wider giving more uniformity, good teat diameter at the base of the udder and more extensions to the fore udder.

In General Appearance Entry A places over Entry D with her advantage being more level in the topline and having the most desirable slope to her rump, more width in her chest wall and longer in bone especially in the loin.  In the Mammary System she has a strong medial suspensory ligament with good teat placement.

Entry D over Entry B in General Appearance for her width between the fore legs and hocks and when viewed from above has smoother blending of the her shoulder into the chest wall.  In the Mammary System she has a strong medial suspensory ligament and a capacious fore udder.

Entry B over Entry C in the Mammary System as she has a more uniform wider rear udder more equal in the udder halves and a more capacious fore udder

.

Entry C although standing last in the class has good General Appearance for her level topline and sharp at the withers.   In the Mammary System she has a good medial suspensory ligament along with good teat placement.

Placing: D (1st udder) B, A, C

D has a more capacious and balanced mammary when viewed from both the side and rear. She also has more dairy strength with more length and angularity throughout.

B has the advantage over A for the height of her rear udder. The fullness from the top of the udder to the udder floor is more balanced. She will grant some dairy strength to A.

It is that dairy strength that places A over C. She is longer and more angular. She has the advantage in general appearance as well for the length and flatness of rump and levelness from hips to pins.

C has a lot of depth of body but just not the capacity to use her higher.
