I placed this class of Intermediate Mini Nubian Bucklings as: E-G-A-C-B-H-I-D-F

​

Entry E placed over Entry G in General Appearance. Both very nice bucklings however Entry E has the advantage for the width in his chest floor, standing straighter between the hocks with more width in the escutcheon area, longer leaner neck, more extension to the brisket and when viewed from the top has a flatter more refined shoulder.

​

Entry G over Entry A in General Appearance.  Again both very nice bucklings, however, Entry G has the advantage having a higher wider escutcheon area, longer in bone especially in the loin, higher in his withers, in Body Capacity he is deeper in the heart girth with an increase in depth to the flank.

​

Entry A over Entry C in General Appearance.  Entry A has great width throughout especially when viewed from the rear, very straight and strong in his legs, and more height to his withers. Entry A does grant to Entry C his length of bone.

​

Entry C over Entry B in General Appearance.  Entry C has more width between the hocks and in the escutcheon area, has a closer toe set, stronger in the chine and smoother blending of the loin into the rump.

​

Entry B over Entry H in General Appearance.  Entry B is wider in the chest floor, more width in the rump, longer from elbow to flank, higher in the withers with smoother blending of the neck into the withers. 

Entry H over Entry I in General Appearance.  Entry H is straighter and stronger in the fore legs with toes pointing more forward, when viewed from above he is wider between hip bones, and has more extension to the brisket.

 

Entry I over Entry D in General Appearance.  Entry I is more level in his topline being stronger in the chine, longer in bone and has a longer leaner neck.   

​

Entry D over Entry F in General Appearance.  Entry D is wider in the chest floor, higher and wider in the escutcheon area, and more angulation to the rear legs when viewed from the side.

​

Entry F although standing last in this class is to be commended for his Body Capacity showing an increase in depth from from heart girth to flank, depth of his heart girth and good breed character for a generation 1.

E  Is placing 1st in this class today for his general appearance he is showing more strength in the front end assembly or sharpness at the point of shoulder with the leg more properly set under his shoulder. He's also showing more dairy strength and angulation to the rear leg and more perpendicular from the hocks to heal.

​

G  Is placing over A today for the advantage that he has in general appearance he's longer over that top line stronger particularly in the area of the chin smoother blended from the neck into the Withers. 

​

A is placing over I today for the advantage that he has in body capacity. While he appears to be a smaller younger animal he is showing more width and depth throughout particularly into the chest floor the flatness in the chest floor. He also has more width through the loin and rump.  He's showing more substance of bone in that foreleg with a straighter foreleg and more correctly forward facing toe.

​

I  Is placing over B today for the advantage that he has in length of bone pattern throughout the angularity in the rear leg set, also his cleanliness and length of neck.

​

B  is showing more smoothness and blending from the neck into the Withers than H. He also is showing where body capacity with more depth and width to the heart girth and more depth into the rear barrel. 

​

H  Is placing over D for the advantage that he has in the general appearance for the back hes stronger in the area of the chime less tendency to dip. He's also longer in the rump and more nearly level from hips to pins. 

​

D Is placing oversee for the advantage he has in feet and legs hes deeper in the heel and cleaner in the tow cleaner about the fore leg with more moderate extension to the brisket and more angular to the rear leg set.

​

C  is stronger and general appearance than F for his top line with more strength in the chin and more balance in length between the chine and loin. He is more upstanding with less tendency for his hips to be higher than his shoulders. 

​

F  Is to be commanded for his smoothness and blending from the neck into the wither. Just not enough upstaningness or width overall to use some higher in the class.

I placed this class of Mini Nubian Senior Bucklings as: H-D-E-F-A-B-C-G

 

Entry H places over Entry D in General Appearance.  Entry H is standing on straighter fore legs with toes pointing forward, he is wider between the hocks and higher in the escutcheon area.  Both of these entries are very lovely from the side, however, Entry H has a longer leaner neck with smoother blending of the loin into the rump.

 

Entry D over Entry E in General Appearance.  Entry D is wider in the chest floor and between the hocks, he is more open in the escutcheon area, is higher in the withers and more level in his topline.

 

 

Entry E over Entry F in General Appearance.  Entry E has more angulation in the rear leg when viewed from the side and rear, and when viewed from the top has smoother blending of the shoulder into the chest wall giving a clearer dairy wedge in Dairy Character.

 

Entry F over Entry A in General Appearance.  Entry F is wider between the fore legs, he is longer in bone, and higher in the withers.

 

Entry A over Entry B in General Appearance.  Entry A is more open in the escutcheon area, a little longer in bone and has more height in the withers.

 

Entry B over Entry C in General Appearance.  When viewed from the side Entry B shows more angulation of the rear legs, higher in the escutcheon area and when viewed from the top has smoother blending of the shoulder into the chest wall.  Entry B does grant to Entry C width throughout.

 

Entry C over Entry G in General Appearance.  Entry C has the advantage for his great width throughout, and his strong level topline. In Body Capacity he is deeper in the heart girth and barrel.

 

Entry G although standing last in this class is to be commended for his General Appearance showing a good extension to his brisket, good width between the hip bones and long lean neck.

D  has the advantage over H for his dairy strength hes more angular throughout hes cleaner about the neck more open in his bone pattern Has more arch in his flank.

​

H  Is more upstanding than C stronger and more prominent in the shoulder more prominent in the dorsal next to the wither.  He has a longer bone pattern throughout showing us more length through the chin loin and rump. 

​

C in his turn has more strength and general appearance than G for the area of the chine he's fuller in the crops and and showing more balance in depth of body from the hard girth to the rear barrel. 

​

G  Has a slight advantage over F for his  Length of body and cleanliness about the neck. He's leaner and more angular and still maintains some substance of bone. 

​

F  Has a slight advantage in body capacity hes deeper at the heart girth wider in the chest floor. He's wider through the loin and longer in his rump.

​

E  In his turn for body capacity hes deeper in the rear barrel and more sprung in his rib than B. 

​

B over A For general appearance in his feet and legs. He's a little bit straighter when viewed from the front in the lower leg particularly the area of the pastern.  He's more angulated into the stifle and has more length and levelness from hips to pins.

​

A Is to be commended for the length and cleanliness about the neck.
