I placed this class of Senior Does 4 and under 5 years of age as:

E-D-C-B-A-F

Again this was a very nice class of Senior Does. Entry E receives Best Udder in Class. She has a well balanced udder when viewed from all sides, her rear udder is wider and higher, a more distinct medial suspensory ligament, and good extension to the fore udder.

Both Entry E and Entry D have great Dairy Character. However, Entry E has the advantage from above showing a clear dairy wedge, in General Appearance she has smoother blending of the shoulder blade into the chest wall and greater width in her rump. In the Mammary System she has a higher and wider rear udder giving her more uniformity of the udder.

Entry D over Entry C in General Appearance she is longer in bone especially in the chine with a higher wither and a more desirable slope to her rump. These two does have very similar Mammary Systems however Entry D has a more capacious rear udder and better balance in the udder halves. Entry D does grant to Entry C smoother blending of the shoulder into the chest wall.

Entry C over Entry B in General Appearance she is more level throughout her topline with a more properly angulated hock when viewed from the side. In Dairy Character she shows a good dairy wedge from the side and from above. Both of these does have nice udders however Entry C has a stronger medial suspensory ligament giving more of the desirable heart shape to the bottom half of the rear udder.

Entry B over Entry A in General Appearance as she has great width between her fore legs and hocks, viewed from above she has smoother blending of her shoulder into the chest wall and in Body Capacity she is deeper in the barrel. In the Mammary System she is very balanced showing equal thirds of the udder from the side and equal halves from the rear and has smoother blending of the fore udder attachment.

Entry A over Entry F in the Mammary System as she has a more capacious rear and fore udder with a higher rear udder attachment. In General Appearance she has a more desirable slope to her rump.

Entry F although standing last in this class is to be commended for her General Appearance showing good width between her fore legs, and a nice flat refined shoulder. In the Mammary System she has a strong medial suspensory ligament and great teat placement.

Placing: E (1st udder) D, C, A, F, B

Reasons: E is placing over D for her advantages in the mammary system, as such she will also be 1st place udder in this class. E is showing height and width at the top of the rear udder that is more balanced to the udder floor. She has more balance in the thirds in front of the leg, behind the leg and behind the thigh when viewed from the side. She also is showing the advantage in general appearance with more strength in the front end assembly, more moderate extension to the brisket and a tighter point of elbow than D.

D is placing over C for her strength in general appearance, she is longer and cleaner about the neck smother blended from the neck into the withers and more uphill in her stature. She is showing more levelness from hips to pins. She also has the advantage in dairy strength having a more wedge shape from both the side view and top with more arch in the area of the flank and more spring of rib.

C is placing over A for her general appearance of feet and legs, she is more perpendicular from hock to pastern on her rear leg set as well as standing more squarely with her legs straight under her when viewed from the front and rear. She also has more body capacity width and depth throughout. She will grant capacity in the rear udder to A.

It is the capacity of that mammary system that is placing A over F. She is fuller when viewed from the rear with more height to the rear udder. More balanced in the third's when viewed from the side.

F is placing over B for general appearance. She is more smoothly blended throughout, particularly the neck into the withers. She is cleaner and sharper at the point of shoulder deeper in the chest floor and tighter at the point of elbow. She is much more angular in her rear legs with more incurving of thigh from the pin bone to the stifle.

B is to be commended for the tremendous shape to her mammary system, the balance and area of attachments.
