I placed this class of AOM Senior Does under 4 years old as:

A-B-C-E-D

Entry C receives Best Udder in this class. Entry C has the most capacious udder with equal width in both the upper and base of the rear udder, a strong medial suspensory ligament, good extension of fore udder and the most desirable teat placement and size.

Entry A places over Entry B in General Appearance. Entry A is wider between her pin bones, is smoother in her topline and has more extension to her brisket. In the Mammary System she shows a stronger medial suspensory ligament and has more capacity in the fore udder.

Entry B over Entry C in General Appearance she is longer in bone especially in the loin and rump, and has a more desirable slope to her rump. When viewed from above and the side she shows stronger dairy wedges for good Dairy Character. In the Mammary System although Entry C received best udder Entry B does have good extension to the fore udder.

Entry C over Entry E in General Appearance is wider between the fore legs and hocks with a closer toe set and has more extension to her brisket. In Body Capacity she is deeper in the heart girth and barrel. In the Mammary System she has the advantage having a more capacious udder that has more balance from all sides.

Entry E over Entry D in General Appearance has more angulation of the rear legs when viewed from the side, is straighter in the fore legs and is longer in bone. In the Mammary System she has teats of a more desirable size and placement on the udder floor for ease of milking.

Entry D although standing last in this class is to be commended for showing a good medial suspensory ligament and good extension to her fore udder.

Placing: B (ist Udder) C, A, E, D

B is placing over C for the advantages in the mammary system. While she may not be as capacious, she has more overall area of attachment and correct delineation of the teats. She also has the advantage in general appearance for the rump being longer and more nearly level from hips to pins.

C over A for that capacity in the mammary but also the height of the rear udder the arch to the area of the escutcheon. She is also stronger in feet and legs with more straightness in the front legs.

A over E for her general appearance in the smoothness from the neck into the withers. The length and levelness from hips to pins and the width throughout.

E is placing over D for her mammary, more correct placement of the teats and higher in the rear udder.

D is to be commended for the levelness in her back.
